Working from art teacher Keith Sharp’s design depicting a wooded glen, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students illustrated the school’s name. Keith and Claire taught the students to make clay tile, both flat and dimensional. We then guided the students through the rest of the mosaic process including laying stained glass pieces in flowing lines, or andamento.
